K.C.’s Write For You Mentoring/Online Class Program
Writing Coach There is no doubt about it, freelancing is a hard life - you have to be confident in your ability, tenacious in your marketing efforts and most of all, you need develop thick skin. But it can also be the most rewarding experience in the world. Writing is my passion, but there’s no way I could have been successful without the help and support of other writers in my community and help from some great editors. How did I break in? – With a little writing talent, some business know-how and several great mentors. Learning how to manage your time, set goals for yourself and finding the publications that want your work is an ongoing process and it helps to get advice from local professionals. But, what if you don’t know where to look for people who can assist you in your writing community? Or you don’t have time to take a class on a campus? What if you live in a rural area or a small town that doesn’t offer writing classes or critique groups? I taught writing classes at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas for 7 years. I now provide mentoring services to writers. My online mentoring program is designed to help you get started on the road to freelancing. Why take a “one size fits all” writing course through a company when you can have a complete mentoring program to fit your needs?
